Within the Boostlingo platform, each user is assigned to a default role based on the user’s account type, such as an LSC administrator or an interpreter. Notifications are sent to specific users when certain events occur, such as the creation of an appointment or the approval of an invoice, based on their role types. There are two types of roles: system roles and custom roles.
System Roles
System roles that are configurable for notifications include:
- Interpreter Root Admin (LSC administrator)
- Interpreter
- Requestor Admin (client administrator)
- Requestor
To configure system roles for notifications, first navigate to the notification settings by going to Configuration > Company > Communications > Notifications.
Select a notification settings card, then set the system roles for the notification within the System Roles section of the selected notification’s settings.
Custom Roles
Custom roles allow an LSC root administrator to control what features default administrators within their organization have access to within the Boostlingo platform, such as the ability to manage appointments or view invoices. For notifications, custom roles allow messages to be sent to administrators who fall within a more specified role. Refer to this article for more information about custom roles: Roles – Custom Roles
As with the System Roles, you can set the custom roles for the notification within the Custom Roles section of the selected notification’s settings:
Note: Roles for notifications can be adjusted at any time for any notification type within the notification’s settings configuration card.
