Use a Google, Microsoft, or Apple account as the preferred login method for the Boostlingo platform.

Admins have the flexibility to manage their users' passwords and access from their preferred platform, without being limited to Boostlingo's native authentication system or requiring a separate password to log into Boostlingo. In addition, security features such as 2FA can be implemented through Google, Office 365, or Apple.

Note: Admins can simplify the onboarding process by specifying the preferred SSO option for users during the initial import of new users. Please contact your Account Manager for further information as the following guide does not apply to imports.

Setting up the Authentication

The first step to begin this integration is to invite the user into Boostlingo.  When the user receives the email to accept the invite they will be redirected to the registration page with buttons to select their preferred authentication method; they can click Register with Google, Register with Microsoft, Register with Apple (or create a password to register with Boostlingo native application).

On the login screen, there is the traditional option to sign into the platform using an email/password combo. Additionally, there is the option to sign in via Google or Microsoft.

Google

Once the Sign in with Google button is clicked on the login page, the user will be re-directed to Google’s login page where they will have the option to select a Google account that has been previously linked within their web browser or sign in with a different account.

Once signed in, the user will be re-directed to the Dashboard for their user account in the Boostlingo platform. If the user had not previously signed in, they will be asked to complete their profile registration.

Microsoft

Once the Sign in with Microsoft button is clicked on the login page, the user will be re-directed to Microsoft’s login page where they will have the option to select a Microsoft account that has been previously linked within their web browser or sign in with a different account.

Once signed in, the user will be re-directed to the Dashboard for their user account in the Boostlingo platform. If the user had not previously signed in, they will be asked to complete their profile registration.

Apple

When clicking the Sign in with Apple button on the login page, the user will be re-directed to Apple’s login page.  They will be prompted to either select an Apple account that is already signed in on the browser, or to sign in using a different Apple ID.

Once signed in, the user will be re-directed to the Dashboard for their user account in the Boostlingo platform. If the user had not previously signed in, they will be asked to complete their profile registration.
