Please refer to the article Rates Overview - Setting Up Standard Rates, Rounding and Minimum for an introduction on setting up Rates in Boostlingo.

Daily Rate

The Daily Rate is an optional rate amount that is applicable to appointments. These rates will apply if the standard rate is not relevant, such as setting a daily amount for onsite appointments rather than charging/paying per minute/hour.

Cancellation Rates

Cancellation Rates are also optional and may not be applicable in all cases, such as on-demand OPI and VRI calls. These are rates that are applicable when situations arise, and one or more parties are no longer able to attend a scheduled appointment.

Reasons as to why an appointment may be cancelled include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Either party did not show
  • A change of address
  • Emergency
  • The appointment is no longer necessary.

Cancellation Rates can be set to only be applied when a cancellation occurs at any time interval prior to the start of an appointment, such as “1 hour” prior to the start time.

Alternatively, a cancellation rate can be set to apply any time an appointment is cancelled prior to, during, or after the appointment is set to occur.

Additionally, Cancellation Rates can be set to either apply a fixed amount when an appointment is cancelled, or a percentage of the base total for the appointment.

Priority Rates

Priority Rates are optional rates that can be applied to appointments which are created due to one of the following reasons:

  • Rush - The appointment is created in a rush, meaning there is little time to gather the necessary resources to fulfill the appointment.
  • Emergency – The appointment as the result of an emergency.
  • Special – The appointment needs to be expedited as a result of special reasons.

Additionally, Priority Rates can be set to apply a fixed amount to an appointment or an amount in addition to the base rate for an appointment, either by the minute or per hour. There is also an option to add both a fixed amount and an amount in proportion to the base rate.

Priority Rates can be set to only be applied when one of the aforementioned reasons occurs at any time interval prior to the start of an appointment, such as 1 hour prior to the start time.

Alternatively, a Priority Rate can be set to apply any time an appointment is created in general.

Note: Please review the Rate Hierarchy guide prior to completing a standard rate card.
