WEB RELEASE VERSION: 8.0

Brynn Reilly
Boostlingo Version 8.0 focuses on reliability and smoother calling experiences across web, mobile, and key telehealth/conferencing integrations—plus improved behavior for AI Interpreter / AI transcription in supported workflows.

Quality & Reliability

In this release, we focused on strengthening the reliability, accuracy, and consistency of core workflows.  We addressed several escalated issues to improve reliability, visibility, and consistency across the platform.

  • Transcriptions & Summaries for Call Center Calls:  Calls answered by call centers now correctly generate and display AI transcriptions and summaries when enabled in your AI policy, ensuring a complete and consistent record across all calls.

  • Analytics Dashboard Filtering: Fixed an issue where the Analytics dashboard failed to refresh after changing the date range. Admins can now reliably view and filter analytics for single or multiple accounts.

  • Third‑Party Number Entry in IVR: Resolved a problem that prevented users from successfully re‑entering a third‑party number after an initial invalid attempt, improving the reliability of third‑party dial‑out flows.

  • Default Settings for Multi‑Account Requestors: Fixed an issue where newly invited multi‑account requestors did not inherit the default service type from the client account, which could block them from placing calls via IVR. Newly created users now correctly inherit default settings.

  • Access to Own Transcriptions & Summaries for Requestor Admins: Addressed a permissions issue where default Requestor Admins could be blocked from viewing their own AI transcriptions and summaries when assigned certain custom roles. These users now always retain access to their own call artifacts.

  • Duplicate Appointment Fields in Notification Emails: Fixed a bug that caused appointment details to appear twice in some email notifications. Appointment emails now display a clean, non‑duplicated summary.

  • Enhance Retry Logic: Improved the experience for interpreters joining third party platform calls to help them join and begin interpreting more quickly.

Behind-the-scenes Upgrades

We’ve implemented major upgrades to our underlying platform architecture to improve overall reliability and performance. These changes are focused on improving call connections, keeping performance consistent during traffic spikes, and strengthening our monitoring so we can detect and address issues more quickly. While these improvements are largely behind the scenes, they’re designed to make day‑to‑day experiences more stable, predictable, and resilient at scale.
