The Requestor Appointment Creation settings will allow you to enable or disable the requestor's ability to create appointments and their ability to create an appointment series, along with turning appointment approval on or off.

These features are configured at the system level and can be overridden at the account level if needed.  To modify the settings, navigate to Configuration > Company > Appointments and click the Edit button next to Requestor Appointment Creation.

This will generate a pop-out which will allow you to control if and how requestors are able to create appointments.

Appointment Creation

When Appointment Creation is On, requestors will have the ability to create appointments. This setting is On by default.

Note: to configure requestor admin's ability to create appointments, please refer to Roles – Custom Roles

Recurring Appointments

When Recurring Appointments is on, requestors will have the ability to create an appointment series. This setting is Off by default.

Appointment Approval

When Appointment Approval is On, it requires Requestor Admins to approve appointments created by requestors before broadcasting occurs. This setting is Off by default.

Note: The appointment will not be visible to the LSC admin until the requestor admin has approved it.

How Appointment Approval Works

First, a Requestor creates an appointment.  The status will show Draft Approval.

Next, the Requestor Admin will see the Draft Approval appointment on their dashboard.  Click the appointment to open the Appointment Viewer and edit or approve.

Once the Requestor Admin has approved the appointment, it will show up for the LSC admin in their dashboard and calendar.  From there, the appointment will follow the normal process for broadcasting based on the account settings.

Note: The appointment will not be visible to the LSC admin until the requestor admin has approved it.
