The status of an appointment changes throughout its lifecycle. This is a list of the possible appointment statuses and their meanings.
Draft
A Draft status appointment has been created by a requestor. It must be approved by a requestor admin on the account before it will move to New status. Please note that appointments in Draft status are not visible to LSC administrators.
If you want for appointments created by requestors to go to New status automatically, turn off Appointment Approval. More information can be found here: Requestor Appointment Creation Settings
New
An Appointment in New status is visible to LSC administrators. When an appointment is in New status, no interpreters have yet been invited to the appointment.
Broadcasted
An appointment in Broadcasted status means that interpreters have been invited to the appointment, but no interpreters have accepted yet.
Confirm Interpreters
The Appointment status Confirm Interpreters means that interpreters have accepted the appointment, but an LSC admin must manually confirm them for the appointment.
You can also turn on Auto-Confirmation to skip this status. Auto-Confirmation
Scheduled
An appointment in Scheduled status means that the necessary number of interpreters have been confirmed for an appointment that has yet to take place.
In Progress
An appointment status shows as In Progress if you view the appointment while it is taking place.
Completed
An Appointment in Completed status indicates that the appointment has already occurred.
Cancelled
An appointment will appear in Cancelled status if an appointment was scheduled and then later cancelled.
Appointments will show as Cancelled for multiple reasons:
- The appointment was cancelled manually.
- The appointment time passed without an interpreter being confirmed.
Archived
An appointment will show as Archived either because the status was manually changed to Archived or because it was entered into the system as occurring in the past.
If you have to edit appointment details for a Completed appointment, you have to first move it into Archived status.
To move an appointment into Archived status, click on Completed in the upper-left-hand corner. Then, click Completed -> Archived.
Once the appointment is in Archived status, you will see the Edit button re-appear. Please note that you will need to move the appointment back into Completed status in order for it to be invoiceable.
